It’s no secret that Bengaluru has some of the most inviting pubs in the country; the city has hundreds of pubs and dozens of microbreweries, some of which are quite famous. A lifestyle vlogger names Dana who hails from the United States and shares snippets of her life in India, recently shared something interesting about Bengaluru’s pub culture. Dana who is a mum often shares things she can has access to in this country but doesn’t experience overseas.
In one of her recent posts, she talked about why she finds Indian pubs more appealing. “Indian pubs almost all have extensive mocktail and/or fresh juice menus for non-drinkers such as myself,” she wrote. Dana also broke down how Bengaluru’s pubs are kid-friendly and why she loves taking her kids to day visits to the pubs. “Many Bangalore pubs such as this one are open air and don't allow smoking of any kind. (The same is not the case in many parts of India),” she wrote.
Dana shared a video of her spending time with her toddler and sharing a meal with her at a pool-side kiddie table at a bengaluru pub. She also added, “Bangalore pubs are often super nice environments. This one has fish ponds all around, which is fun for little ones.”
“Some Bangalore Pubs even host kids' activities on the weekend! We have even attended a child's birthday party in a pub before,” Dana pointed out. “Bangalore pubs are in a league of their own! My toddler loves a day visit (would not bring her at night).”
Several Bengaluru residents and fellow mums shared similar views in the comments section and also shared recommendations. “I’ve even seen a lot of kids at breweries in the evenings here! I think breweries and pubs in blr are a lot more like restaurants than their namesakes in the states,” a follower commented on the post.
Followers also recommended names like Fireside and Oia which have versatile set-ups and offer more than just a nightlife experience. “I’ve taken my 2 year old here. He absolutely loved it too. The vibe in Bangalore is irreplaceable,” another netizen shared in the comments section.
