In a bowl, mix wheat flour, finely chopped fenugreek leaves, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt as per taste. Add water and knead the mixture until it forms a dough. Make small rounds and roll out thin slices. On a heated tawa, cook it until golden brown on both slides. Enjoy Khakhra as a healthy and crunchy snack.

Chorafali

Gather 1 cup gram flour (besan), 1/2 cup urad dal flour, 1/4 tsp baking soda, salt to taste, oil for deep frying, red chilli powder and black salt for sprinkling. In a bowl, mix gram flour, urad dal flour, baking soda, and salt as per taste. Add water to form a smooth dough. Roll out the dough into thin sheets and cut them into strips. Heat oil and fry the strips until they puff up and turn crisp. Garnish with red chilli powder and black salt, serve with tea, and enjoy!

Gathiya This snack is made from 2 cups gram flour (besan), 1 teaspoon carom seeds (ajwain), 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, salt to taste, water for kneading, and oil for deep frying. In a bowl, combine gram flour, ajwain , turmeric powder, and salt. Make a dough, Use a gathiya press to shape the dough into long, thin strips. Heat oil and fry the strips until they turn golden and crispy.

Fafda

This famous snack, which is eaten alone and mostly paired with jalebi, You need 2 cups gram flour (besan), 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1/2 tsp ajwain, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, salt to taste, water for kneading, and oil for deep frying. Mix gram flour, baking soda, ajwain, turmeric powder, and salt in a bowl. Make a soft dough, roll it out and cut it into thin strips. Fry in hot oil until crispy and golden brown. Serve and enjoy!

Sev

This can be served alone or used as a topping too. To make this, you need 2 cups gram flour (besan), 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder, 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida (hing), salt to taste, water and oil. In a bowl, mix gram flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, hing and salt. Make a dough and put it into the sev press to shape the dough into thin strands. Fry until golden and crispy. Drain excess oil and serve.

Makai Chevdo

A popular Gujarati snack made with a crispy blend of cornflakes, peanuts, raisins, and spices, offering a delightful mix of sweet and savoury flavours. Just heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds. Add curry leaves, green chilies, and a pinch of asafoetida (hing). Now stir in cornflakes, peanuts, and raisins. Add turmeric and red chilli powder. Add salt to taste, and cook until crispy. Serve it with tea.
