It’s a common slang used by Sheldon Cooper, played by Jim Parsons, in The Big Bang Theory whenever he was trying to joke around with his friends. If you have a friend or loved one who is always quoting slang or introducing references from the sitcom in the middle of a conversation, you have a fanatic fan of the nerdy sitcom in your group.

The best way to surprise them on their birthday or any special occasion is to get them a cake inspired by the funny series spanning over 12 seasons. While you can try cakes in many shapes, stay away from a circular Death Star cake that Amy and Bernadette tried to bake for the gang. Here are some of the funny themes that you can try out even if you are not an expert in cake decoration.
Lego-Themed Cake
When Sheldon and Amy were on their honeymoon, the physicist prepared a Lego breakfast for his wife. Fondant can be used to create character figures with little hassle, and the cake can be decorated with chocolate scraps and colourful candies. You can also add a few elements from the show like the broken elevator, laptops, blue doors of Leonard and Penny’s apartments, etc.
Comic Book Cake
The guys - Sheldon, Leonard, Raj, and Howard - were huge fans of comic books. The show featured a comic book store owned by Stuart, played by Kevin Sussman, who later became a crucial part of the series. You can design a cake that has famous comic icons or references like a yellow thunderbolt from Flash or a green lantern from Green Lantern. These comic figures are easy to make using fondant. You can also create comic book panels with characters from the show.
Character Specific Cake
Depending on the person’s favourite character, you can create a character-specific cake by adding widely popular elements associated with them. For example, if you are creating a cake based on Sheldon Cooper, you can add ‘Bazinga’, Flash’s thunderbolt, a brown couch with his spot, a contract, a kitten, etc. Similarly, for Leonard, you can add glasses, a hoodie, a red sweater, etc.
Periodic Table Cake
If you have ever seen the show, you should have noticed that the shower curtain in Leonard and Sheldon’s bathroom had a periodic table printed all over it. You can design a rectangular cake and use fondant to create a colourful periodic table displaying all the elements and their atomic numbers. You can also add little elements beside Co for Sheldon Cooper, Ho for Howard, Le for Leonard, and K for Raj Koothrappali.
The Soft Kitty Cake

You can bake a circular cake, decorate it in the shape of a cat and add lines of the song here and there. You can also create little paw prints on fondant and spread them on the surface and sides of the cake.

One of the favourite things that Sheldon loves to do is crafting agreements. He even had a relationship and roommate agreement with Amy and Leonard, respectively. You can use fondant to write clauses of agreements and hilarious quotes by the characters. You can also write promises you would like to make to your friend or loved one. It will be heart-touching for them.
