5 Delicious Caramel Cocktails to Indulge Your Sweet Tooth

To prepare the syrup, combine water, sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt in a pan and let it cook for a few minutes. Once cooled, use it for your cocktails. 

Caramel Apple Martini 

Ingredients 

  • 30 ml sour apple schnapps 
  • 30 ml butterscotch schnapps 
  • 60 ml vodka 
  • caramel sauce

Method 

  • In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add all the ingredients.  
  • Shake well until chilled. 
  • Drizzle caramel inside the glass. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Enjoy. 

Caramel Mule 

Ingredients 

  • ice cubes 
  • 60 ml salted caramel liqueur 
  • 30 ml vodka 
  • 30 ml apple juice 
  • 30 ml ginger beer 
  • 1 dash bitters

Method 

  • Shake together caramel liqueur, vodka, apple juice and bitter with ice. 
  • Strain over ice into a highball glass. Top with ginger beer. Serve. 

Caramel White Russian

Ingredients 

  • 60 ml Kahlua 
  • 30 ml caramel vodka 
  • 45 ml cream

Method 

  • Fill a glass with ice and pour Kahlua and caramel vodka.  
  • Then add cream over vodka. Stir well and enjoy. 

Caramel Orange Manhattan 

Ingredients 

  • 45 ml bourbon  
  • 15 ml sweet vermouth 
  • 15 ml caramel liqueur 
  • 15 ml orange liqueur 
  • 8 drops of bitters 
  • Garnish: whipped cream and orange wheel 

Method 

  • Combine whisky, vermouth, liqueurs and bitters in a mixing glass.  
  • Stir until well-combined. Strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass. 
  • Garnish with an orange wheel and whipped cream.  

Caramel Old Fashioned 

Ingredients 

  • 1/2 tsp brown sugar 
  • 1 orange peel 
  • 15 ml caramel syrup 
  • 2 dash of chocolate bitters 
  • 60 ml bourbon

Method 

  • Place all the ingredients into a cocktail glass and fill it with ice. 
  • Gently muddle. 
  • Add garnish and serve chilled.
