Can you imagine Indian street food without samosas? Neither can we. A staple across North India and various other parts of the country, samosa has made a place for itself in our country like nothing else. But did you know? samosas aren’t truly Indian. Surprised? Legend has it that Samosas were brought to Indian by traders from Central Asia who during their travel to the country, started cooking small, crisp meat mince-filled triangles during night halts as they were convenient to be packed for the next day’s journey. Eventually these travelers bought it to India and the majority of vegetarian population here gave it their own spin.
