There are a few recipes that you can follow to make no-bake sweet dishes without using a stove or oven for baking. They are easy to make and the best way to introduce yourself to the world of sweet delectables without worrying about burning the first batch.

Among the no-bake recipes, dry fruits or nuts are among the most healthy ingredients that you can pick. These delights can be a one-stop-solution to your hunger pangs at any time of the day while refuelling your body with protein and energy. Here are six recipes that you should try out.

Nut Balls

You just need pistachios, almonds, cardamom powder, and pitted dates. The first step is to grind pistachios and almonds into a coarse mixture. Add dates and cardamom seeds to this and grind until the combination turns into a thick paste that can be shaped into balls. Make small spherical balls of this mixture and store them in an air-tight jar to enjoy for weeks to come. The fresh taste of cardamom seeds is just like the cherry on the top of a cake. 

Chikki

Do you remember eating chikki when you were a kid? It is a no-bake sweet delight made by using sesame seeds, peanuts, baking soda, and jaggery. Keep baking ready and greased with edible oil. Roast peanuts and sesame seeds separately until they are golden brown. In another pan, melt jaggery over low heat. Mix jaggery with sesame seeds and peanuts along with a pinch of baking soda and spread it all on a baking tray. Once cool, cut it into rectangular shapes and enjoy. 

Granola Bar

Granola bars are one of the easiest delights to make at home and carry them to your office, market, or anywhere else. It is a quick solution to beat hunger pangs and re-energise your body. You will need honey, oats, different types of nuts, vanilla extract, and coconut oil. First, heat honey and coconut oil in a pan. Turn off the flame, add nuts and vanilla extract. Spread this mixture on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and let it cool off. Cut the granola bars and store them in an air-tight jar.

Almond Butter Bars

It is a delightful dessert that would need chocolate ganache for the finishing touch. It enhances the flavour and richness while making this sweet irresistible to children and adults. The base is made using roasted almonds, peanuts and walnuts can also be used to create bars. Nuts, sea salt, and cocoa powder are blended in a mixer. Add dates to this mixture, and it will form a dough-like paste. Spread it on the baking tray, top the mixture with almond butter and maple syrup concoction and freeze. Later, add ganache for garnishing and freeze for 10-15 minutes to enjoy this sweet dish.

Chocolate Cashew Fudge

Keep a baking tray ready on the side for this energetic dessert. Grind cashews in a blender until you achieve a powder-like consistency. In a pan, melt butter and add it to powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and milk. Once you have a smooth mixture, fold in powdered cashews and mix everything together. Spread it evenly on the pan and refrigerate for at least a couple of hours. Enjoy these square or rectangular fudges every day.
