Plantain Kebab
Did you know that plantains are cooked around the globe? Green plantains are unripe, and carry a vegetal flavour akin to cooked potato. When these plantains are used in dishes such as curries or soups, the sauces or the spices lend flavour to them. So it is fitting to use plantains to make kebabs, isn’t it? You can choose delicious combinations such as plantain and chickpea kebab, plantain and tomato or even plantain and fried cheese kebab. Whatever pairing you decide on, plantains definitely make a compelling case for a meatless alternative!

They may not be kebabs in the traditional sense, but they are rock solid at making you calm and collected for the busy work day ahead.
