Zero-Oil Lemon Herb Grilled Chicken In 6 Easy Steps

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts 1 lemon (zested and juiced) 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1 teaspoon dried thyme 1 teaspoon paprika Salt and pepper to taste Fresh herbs (such as parsley or cilantro)

Step 1

In a bowl, combine the lemon zest, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well

Step 2

Place the chicken breasts in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavours to infuse.

Step 3

Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off. Place the chicken breasts on the preheated grill. Grill each side for approximately 6-8 minutes

Step 4

During grilling, you can brush the chicken with some of the marinades for added flavour.

Once the chicken is cooked through, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes to let the juices be redistributed.
