Yummy Dahi Samosa Chaat For Evening Snacking

This street style chaat is delicious the crispy samosa are topped with curd and spicy. Sweet chutney. Perfect snacking option during festive season!

Ingredients

For 4 servings 1 cup all purpose flour 1 1/2 teaspoon butter 1/2 teaspoon carom seeds salt as required 3 mashed,peeled potato 3/4 teaspoon red chilli powder 3/4 gm coriander powder 2 medium onion 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds refined oil as required 2 dashes black salt 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala 3 1/2 cup hung curd tamarind paste as required For Garnishing sev as required 2 tablespoon cut into strips beetroot 2 tablespoon cut into strips carrot 1 tablespoon coriander leaves

Step 1

Start by kneading the dough add flour, salt, butter and carom seeds. Add water as desired. Let it rest for sometime.

Step 2

For Filling boil potatoes and blanch the peas. In a pan add oil  saute chopped onions and all the spices.

Step 3

Then add blanched peas and mashed potatoes to it. Mix the whole mixture and cool down.

Step 4

Take dough and fill filling evenly and shape it like a samosa. In a deep pan fry these until golden brown.

Step 5

Now take a plate and add the samosa break them and Pour the hung curd and chutneys on top.

Step 6

Garnish the dish with sev, coriander leaves, beetroot and sprinkle the chaat masala and roasted cumin powder over it.
