Whenever one’s feeling lazy to cook, we tend to order. However, when you’ve got these one-pot dishes by your side, you needn’t worry.
The name speaks of the royal air attached to this dish. Loaded with dry fruits and nuts as well coconut, this khichdi is nowhere close to an ordinary affair.
An interesting take on leftover dal and roti, the dal is tempered with hot spices. Throw in pieces of roti, stir and cook in a pot and enjoy.
A tangy lunch affair, you can make lemon rice in a jiffy. All you need is urad dal, turmeric and ginger, with some lime juice and it’s sorted.
Take a dig at this South-Indian style khichdi made with long-grain rice, lentils and veggies like carrots, beans and drumsticks. The tangy tamarind lentil is what makes it distinct.
A flavourful and protein-rich lunch dish, you just need to take some shredded chicken, rice and veggies along with spices like curry powder and cook them in a pot.
