Detox and More, Benefits Of Ash Gourd Juice

The Ash gourd, also known as chal kumra, is a powerful component. its juice has several positive effects when consumed first thing in the morning. It helps reduce blood sugar since it is a prebiotic, as well as antacid. In addition to all the other benefits, it helps your body cool down. 

Step 1 

Wash and peel the ash gourd, then remove the seeds and cut it into small pieces. 

Step 2 

Add the ash gourd pieces to a blender along with a cup of water. Blend until smooth and strain the mixture using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove any pulp. 

Step 3 

Add a pinch of salt and a squeeze of lemon juice to enhance the flavor. Optionally, you can add a sweetener like honey or sugar if desired. 

Step 4 

Stir well to combine all the ingredients. Serve the ash gourd juice chilled and enjoy its refreshing and hydrating benefits. 

Tip 

You can adjust the consistency and taste by adding more or less water, and adjust the sweetness according to your preference.
