Curd uses natural curdling ingredients like lemon juice and yields lactobacillus. Yoghurt is fermented artificially and contains streptococcus bacteria with lactobacillus.

Yoghurt contains more probiotic bacteria than curd due to the longer fermentation process.

Curd contains more lactose than yoghurt so if you are lactose intolerant, curd may not be the best option for you.
