We are celebrating World Rum Day on 11th July, and what can be better than making delicious cocktails? So, Monika Alcobev gives us a few suggestions as to what cocktails we should try.
Combine rum, pineapple juice, and coconut cream in a blender. Add a cup of crushed ice and blend until smooth. Pour into a tall glass and garnish with a pineapple wedge.
Rim a chilled martini glass with shredded coconut. Shake rum, coconut water, and simple syrup with ice in a cocktail shaker. Strain into the prepared glass.
Fill a copper mug or highball glass with ice cubes. Add Ashanti Spiced Rum and lime juice. Top with ginger beer and stir gently. Garnish with a lime wedge.
In a glass, muddle the mint leaves with lime juice and simple syrup. Fill the glass with ice cubes. Add Bush Rum Mango and stir gently. Top with soda water.
Add frozen mango chunks, Bush Rum Mango, lime juice, and simple syrup to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. Pour into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.
In a shaker, combine the Bush Rum Tropical Citrus, grapefruit juice, lemon juice, and simple syrup with ice. Shake well and strain into a tall glass filled with ice. Top with soda water and garnish with a grapefruit slice.
Rim a margarita glass with salt. In a shaker, combine Bush Rum Tropical Citrus, lime juice, triple sec, and agave syrup with ice. Shake well and strain into glass filled with ice.
In an Old Fashioned glass, muddle the orange peel and simple syrup. Add the Ashanti Spiced Rum and bitters. Fill the glass with ice cubes. Stir gently till chilled.
