World Rum Day 2024: Give A Boozy Twist To Your Chocolate With This Recipe

Rum and chocolate are classic combinations that offer a bittersweet flavour with warm notes. To celebrate World Rum Day, make a boozy chocolate that’s perfect to satisfy your sweet tooth with a twist.

Ingredients

1 cup dark chocolate chip ¼ cup raisins ⅛ cup rum ¼ teaspoon cinnamon powder Cooking spray (for coating the moulds)

Step 1

Take a saucepan and mix rum and raisins on low heat. After 5 minutes, remove the heat and let them rest.

Step 2

Melt the dark chocolate using a double boiler or a microwave.

Step 3

Stir in rum-infused raisins. Fold in cinnamon powder.

Step 4

Lightly coat the chocolate moulds with cooking spray and pour the mixture.

Step 5

Refrigerate the moulds for at least an hour, and your rum chocolate will be ready.
