1 cup jowar poha 1 onion, chopped 2 green chillies, chopped ½ cup peanuts 1 tsp cumin seeds ½ tsp asafoetida 2 sprigs curry leaves 1 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp sugar Salt, to taste 2 tbsp oil 1 tbsp lemon juice 2 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
Wash and soak the jowar poha for a minute, then drain into a colander and set aside until needed.
Heat oil in a wok, then add the cumin seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves and peanuts. Saute until the peanuts start crisping up.
Now add onions, green chillies, turmeric powder and saute until the onions start turning translucent.
Add the jowar poha, salt, sugar and mix well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes while stirring occasionally.
Check the salt, add lemon juice and cilantro, and mix well. Switch off the flame.
Serve the Millets Poha while hot. Enjoy it with a cup of chai and a side of fresh jalebis!
