This Women’s Day, tip your hat to all things pink and girly by crafting the legendary Pink Lady cocktail. This gin and grenadine-infused beverage is sure to enliven your Women’s Day galas with its bright, vibrant colour and enticing taste. Here’s a simple Pink Lady recipe.
Ingredients
90 ml dry gin 50 ml of freshly squeezed lemon juice 30 ml cane sugar syrup 5 ml of grenadine 1 egg white Ice
Step 1
Place the gin, lemon juice, sugar syrup, grenadine, and egg into a cocktail shaker and shake the concoction thoroughly.
Step 2
When the mixture becomes foamy, introduce some ice into the shaker and shake the ingredients again; continue shaking till the exterior of the cocktail shaker feels chilly.
Step 3
Use a strainer to strain the bubbly pink-hued cocktail into elegant cocktail glasses.
Step 4
You can garnish the drink with cherries to give it an added burst of colour if you wish. This step is optional.
