With These Bread Rolls Tiffin Time Is So Much Better

Coming up with new and exciting meal options that will keep kids healthy and happy can be a challenge.  This recipe is packed full of veggies but is disguised as a treat so kids and mum will both be happy.

Ingredients

15-16 White bread slices 6 Potatoes 2 Onions ½ cup fresh peas ½ cup carrots 1 tsp Cumin seeds 2-3 Green chillies 1½ tsp Coriander seeds 3 tbsp Coriander leaves 2 tbsp Mint leaves ½ tsp Garam masala powder 1 tsp Chaat masala Salt to taste Oil for frying

Step 1

Fry the cumin seeds then add the green chillies and onions and saute until soft.

Step 2

Cook the peas, potatoes and carrots until fork tender and add to the pan along with coriander leaves, mint leaves, coriander seeds, garam masala powder, chaat masala, salt.

Step 3

Dip each bread slice in water and roll flat. Put a ball of the stuffing in the centre and make a pattice. Fry until golden and crispy.
