Make this healthy and delicious paratha at home filled with the goodness of beetroot.
For Beetroot Paste: 2 tsp oil, ½ tsp ginger paste, 1 chilli, 1½ cup beetroot (grated), ½ tsp salt, 2 tbsp water, For Dough: 2 cup wheat flour, ½ tsp cumin, ½ tsp garam masala, ½ tsp dry mango powder, ½ tsp carom seeds, ½ tsp salt, 2 tbsp coriander, 1 tsp oil
In a large bowl, take wheat flour, jeera, garam masala, amchur, ajwain and salt. Mix well. Then add prepared beetroot paste, coriander and oil.
Knead the dough well adding water. Now grease 1 tsp oil, and rest the dough for 15 minutes.
Further pinch a ball sized dough and roll it into a roti with the rolling pin. Now on a hot tawa place the rolled paratha and cook for a minute.
When the base is partly cooked, flip the paratha. Spread oil on both the sides. Flip again till both the sides are cooked properly. Serve hot.
