Winter Special Gud Wali Chai to Start Your Mornings

Start your mornings off right with this lovely tea, a wonderful blend of warm spices that will awaken your senses and bring you comfort during the chilly winter months.

Ingredients 

2 cups water 2 cups milk 3-4 teaspoons loose tea leaves 2 tablespoons jaggery (gud), grated 1-inch ginger, finely chopped

Step 1 

In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the loose tea leaves, and let them steep for a rich infusion.

Step 2

Into the simmering tea, add finely chopped ginger. Allow it to simmer for an aromatic fusion of tea and ginger flavours.

Step 3

Once the tea and ginger amalgamate beautifully, add grated jaggery to the mix. Stir well until the jaggery dissolves, imparting a natural sweetness.  

Step 4

Pour in 2 cups of milk into the spiced tea concoction. Let the tea simmer, allowing the milk to blend seamlessly with the robust flavors. 

Step 5

Pour the chai into mugs after it has thickened to your liking. With its harmonious blend of heat, sweetness, and richness, Gud Wali Chai wraps you in a comforting warmth.
