Winter Diet: How To Make Paya Soup

Paya soup or kharode ka soup is one classic winter delicacy that helps in keeping our body warm. Its rich nutrient content also help people recover from bacteria-borne illnesses. 

Ingredients

2 mutton legs (washed and cleaned) Salt 1 tsp ginger 3 black peppercorns 3 cups water 1 tsp oil

Ingredients

1 onion 1 green chilli ½ tsp ginger paste 2 garlic cloves ½ tsp black pepper powder 1 tsp chopped  coriander leaves 1 tsp chickpea flour 

Cook the mutton pieces in a pressure cooker for about 45 minutes along with water, salt, black pepper and ginger. Keep the flame low. 

Meanwhile, heat oil in a pan and add onion, green chilli, ginger paste, garlic cloves, salt and pepper. Saute for 5 minutes. 

Add the cooked mutton and extract. Cook for 5 minutes. 

Now add chickpea flour and cook again for 2 minutes. Your soup is ready, garnish with coriander leaves and  serve hot.
