Radish is in the season. Try this radish soup which is hearty and comforting, with the seasonal vegetable providing a unique flavour and kick. Try out this recipe!

1 tablespoon olive oil or vegetable oil 1 onion, finely chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 pound radishes 2 medium potatoes 4 cups vegetable or chicken broth 1 teaspoon dried thyme Salt and pepper to taste 1/2 cup heavy cream Fresh chives or parsley for garnish

You need to heat a pot and add the chopped onion, sauté until softened, then add the minced garlic and cook.

You need to add the sliced radishes and diced potatoes to the pot and stir for another 5 minutes, then add the broth.

Add dried thyme, salt, and pepper to taste. Allow the soup to simmer for 15-20 minutes.
