Nourish your body with a hearty Iron-rich Vegetarian Soup, packed with wholesome ingredients to boost your energy levels and enhance your overall well-being.
1 cup Red lentil (Masoor ki Dal) 3 Drumsticks 1 large Onion 1-inch piece Ginger 1 large Tomato 3-4 Sem Phalli (Broad/Flat Bean) 4 cups Water 1 tsp Ghee 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder Salt, as per taste
In a pressure cooker, combine red lentil, drumsticks, chopped onion, ginger, tomato, and sem phalli. Add 4 cups of water, salt, and black pepper powder.
Close the pressure cooker lid and cook for 3 whistles. Allow the pressure to release naturally, then open the lid. Use a hand blender to blend the cooked ingredients until smooth. Strain the blended mixture to remove any fibrous bits.
Adjust the consistency of the soup by adding water if necessary. Bring the soup to a boil, then simmer for a few minutes. Finally, drizzle with a teaspoon of ghee for added flavour and richness. Serve hot and enjoy this nutritious Iron-rich Vegetarian Soup as a comforting meal or appetizer.
