The classic combination of peanut butter and Nutella could be any mother’s nightmare, because of the high sugar content in both these products. Make a healthier, nutrient rich version at home that your kids will absolutely love.
1 + ½ cup roasted peanuts, shelled ½ cup dark chocolate chips 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey ½ teaspoon vanilla extract 1 pinch salt 1 tablespoon good quality cocoa powder
Lightly roast the peanuts in a dry pan until they brown further.
When still warm, add to a blender jar, start blitzing slowly and change to a faster setting, using a spatula to stir in regular intervals.
Once the peanuts start to release their oils and start to resemble a butter-like consistency, add the chocolate chips and cocoa powder and blend again.
Add the vanilla extract and maple syrup and blend one last time, to combine.
