Wholesome And Flavorful: Brown Rice Burrito Bowl At Home

Indulge in a nutritious and delicious meal with a homemade brown rice burrito bowl. Packed with protein, veggies, and vibrant flavours.

Ingredients

1 cup cooked brown rice 1 cup black beans (rinsed and drained ) 1/2 cup tofu ( Optional) 1 cup sliced bell peppers and onions 1/2 cup corn kernels 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes 1 cup shredded lettuce Salsa or hot sauce (optional) Lime wedges for garnish Fresh coriander for garnish Salt and pepper to taste

Step 1

Start by cooking the brown rice according to the package instructions. Set aside.

Step 2

Season and cook the tofu and set aside. In the pan, sauté the bell peppers, onions, and corn kernels.

Step 3

Now Warm up the black beans Assemble your burrito bowl by layering the cooked brown rice and black beans.

Step 4

Add tofu sautéed vegetables, chopped tomatoes and shredded lettuce  in a bowl.

Step 5

Now Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add salsa or hot sauce for an extra kick of flavour.

Step 6

Garnish with lime wedges and fresh coriander. Mix everything together and enjoy!
