Pumpkin sauce pasta offers a creamy, wholesome twist to your regular pasta. This simple yet flavourful dish can be easily prepared in an Indian kitchen, using locally available ingredients.
200g pasta (penne or fusilli) 1 cup pumpkin puree 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 small onion, chopped 1 cup milk or cream Salt and pepper to taste 1 tablespoon olive oil Grated cheese (optional)
Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente; drain and set aside. Heat olive oil in a pan, sauté garlic and onion until translucent.
Add pumpkin puree, milk (or cream), salt, and pepper, and stir until the sauce thickens. Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce, coating evenly. Garnish with grated cheese and serve hot.
