Overnight oats are not a new thing. But have you tried the Desi version of it? Here is how to make Indian style overnight savoury oats.
1 cup oats 2 cups curd 1 grated carrot 1 grated cucumber 1/2 tbsp cumin and coriander powder roasted 2 tsp oil Curry leaves Mustard seeds Green chilli Salt as per taste
In a bowl, put the rolled oats and add curd to it. Next, add the grated veggies, salt and roasted spices. Give it a good mix.
In a pan, heat up oil and add mustard seeds, chillies and curry leaves. After they splutter, add the tadka to oats.
Give it a good mix and refrigerate it overnight. Enjoy the oats as breakfast.
