Weekend Binge With Paneer Biryani

Most loved meal in India is biryani! This dish will make you go crazy! With soft Paneer and Indian spices. Serve this with curd and enjoy!

Ingredients

1 cup rice, 1 cup cubed paneer 1 small carrot 1 teaspoon lemon juice 1 green chilli ½ teaspoon ginger paste ⅓ teaspoon cumin seeds ½ cup mint leaves 1 and green cardamom 2 bay leaves 2 peppercorns 1 small onion 1 teaspoon coriander 1 tablespoon ghee Handful coriander leave Garlic to taste Salt to taste Water as required

Step 1

Start with cleaning the veggies and dicing them evenly. Now take rice and soak for 30 minutes

Step 2

Now take fresh Paneer and with a clean butter knife dice the paneer into small cubes and keep aside.

Step 3

Now, take a pressure cooker over medium flame and heat it. Add rice and  Pressure cook it for 2 whistles.

Step 4

Now blend chopped onions, mint leaves, garlic, and ginger paste, peppercorns, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, and lemon juice.

Now saute the whole spices in hot oil and then add the blended spice paste.

Step 6

Now in heat a deep shallow pan add ghee,  cardamom and bay leaves and saute. 

Step 7

Now pour the prepared paste with 3 tbsp water in it. Stir and cook for a minute.

Step 8

Cook the rice in the paste along with the paneer and veggies for another 5-10 minutes.

Finally, it’s done transfer it to a serving tray and pair it with curd. Enjoy this delicious dish.
