One must store bread at a cool and dry place i.e., away from direct sunlight and heat sources to keep it fresh.
Refrigeration can actually make the bread stale faster. Cold temperature gives tougher texture to the bread.
Cut whole bread from the middle to the edges in order to block air that can make the bread easier to mold.
Aluminium foil helps in storing natural moisture of the bread and prevents it from getting stale.
Bread box or an airtight container can create a humid environment and can prevent the bread from drying out.
A whole loaf retains its freshness better than sliced bread. So, slice the bread only when you're ready to eat it.
