Ingredients

I cup Moong dal 1 tsp ginger 1/2 tsp minced garlic 2 red chillies 2 green chillies 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp cumin seeds Salt Pepper Water as required Ghee/oil as needed

Step 1

Wash the moong dal and soak it in lukewarm water for an hour.

Step 2

Rise the moong dal with cold water and drain it. Allow you to dry a bi by spreading on a plate or tray.

Step 3

Now in a blender, add the moong dal, cumin seeds, red chillie, green chillies, minced garlic, salt and blend it to a smooth paste

Step 4

To the paste add, 1/2 cup of water to make it dilute. Blend it again to make it a smooth paste. To this, add baking soda. Let it ferment for few minutes.

Take a non-stick pan. Add oil/ghee. Wipe it off. Drizzle some water

Step 6

Once the pan is hot, add ladle of the dosa batter. Spread it in a circular motion. Grease the sides with ghee/oil. Fold it into half.

Transfer the dosa in a plate and serve it with coconut chutney and sambhar.
