Enjoy homemade espresso cookies, which combine coffee and chocolate in a rich and gratifying way. With a crispy exterior and a soft, fudgy centre.
1 cup all-purpose flour 1/4 cup cocoa powder 1 tbsp instant espresso powder 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 cup unsalted butter 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/4 cup brown sugar 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 175°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Take a bowl and whisk flour, cocoa powder, and instant espresso.
Add in baking powder, and salt. Take a bowl add in cream, softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
Mix them until fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture and mix.
Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until the dough combines.
Add in chocolate chips too . Now Take about a tbsp of dough and roll it into a ball.
Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet. Gently press down with a fork to create a pattern.
Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes. Once done cool them do and serve!
