Punugulu—tiny circular deep-fried dumplings—are enticing. Vizag's punugulus are served with hot ginger and coconut chutneys. Sample them at RTC Complex, MVP Double Roads, Beach Road, and Daba Gardens.

Muri Mixture

Aratikaya Bajji

Try this amazing street food from Vizag. These spherical fritters are made with raw bananas or aratikaya. Most jhal muri sellers slice the bhajji and load it with fried groundnuts and chopped tomatoes and onions.

Spiced Mango Slices

Vizag offers raw mango slices as unique street food year-round. Jhal muri sellers sell these in their carts, mostly at RK Beach. Vertically sliced Totapuri mangoes are seasoned with chilli powder and salt and served on a paper.

MVP's food streets, The Park Circle, sell cheekulu, or chicken skewers. Succulent chunks of chicken are marinated and skewered onto bamboo skewers before being grilled over a bed of coals.

Kobbari Puvva Salad

Coconut embryo or kobbari puvva is an exotic snack of Andhra. Kobbari Puvva Salad in Visakhapatnam is a hit street food. One can find it near the old Jail Road food street.
