With perilla leaves, ginger, and lemongrass cordial, a traditional mojito cocktail can be given a Vietnamese touch.
½ lime (2 wedges and a slice for garnish), 6 mint leaves, plus a sprig to garnish, 2 perilla leaves, 40ml rum, 2 tsp sugar syrup, 25ml ginger and lemongrass cordial soda water
6 mint leaves, 1 perilla leaf, and 2 lime wedges should be muddled.
Add 25ml of ginger and lemongrass cordial, 2 teaspoons of sugar syrup, and 40ml of rum.
Place ice in a glass halfway, add the cocktail, and mix. More ice, soda water on top, and a stir.
Add a lime slice, a perilla leaf, and a mint sprig as garnish.
