Elevate your hummus game with this easy beetroot hummus recipe. The vibrant color and earthy flavors of beetroot blend perfectly with chickpeas, sesame seed paste, and spices, creating a delightful dip for any occasion.
1 beetroot, cooked and peeled 1 cup of chickpeas 3 tbsp of sesame seed paste 2 tbsp of lemon juice 2 cloves of garlic 2 tbsp of olive oil 1/2 tsp of ground cumin Salt and pepper to taste Water (accordingly )
Blend the cooked beetroot, chickpeas, sesame seed paste, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, cumin, salt, and pepper.
Add water to achieve the desired consistency. Adjust the seasonings, adding more salt, pepper, or lemon juice.
Transfer the beetroot hummus to a serving bowl and drizzle with a little olive oil.
Serve with pita bread, fresh vegetables, or your favorite dippers. Enjoy this store it in an airtight container.
