Vegan Kaju Barfi: Dairy Free Sweet Treat For Weekend

Experience the delectable taste of Vegan Kaju Barfi, a dairy-free twist on the classic Indian sweet made with cashews. Enjoy the rich flavour and texture in this plant-based dessert.

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted cashews (kaju), 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup water 1/4 tsp cardamom powder 1 tbsp coconut oil Edible silver leaf for garnish

Step 1

Blend the cashews into a fine powder. and turn them into a paste. Now In a separate pan, combine the sugar and water.

Step 2

Heat the mixture until the sugar dissolves completely. Now Mix Cashew Powder and Sugar Syrup

Step 3

Stir well and add the cardamom powder and mix again. Grease a flat plate coconut oil.

Step 4

Transfer the cashew mixture to the greased plate and spread it evenly, place edible silver leaf on top.

Step 5

Allow the Kaju Barfi to cool down completely. Once set cut it into square or diamond-shaped pieces. Enjoy!
