A fun way to use up leftover dosa batter, these waffles are not just perfect for your mornings but also make for a filling meal to enjoy later during the day.
1 cup leftover dosa batter 1 onion, finely chopped 2 green chillies, finely chopped ½ carrot, grated ½ teaspoon mustard seeds 1 tablespoon coriander, chopped 3-4 curry leaves, torn Sesame oil, for brushing Salt to taste
Add the dosa batter to a large mixing bowl along with 3-4 tablespoons of water.
Stir to thin the batter slightly before mixing in the remaining ingredients.
Heat your waffle maker and brush with a teaspoon or two of sesame oil on both sides.
Slowly ladle in the dosa batter and spread across the surface of the waffle maker.
Clamp on the lid and cook for 4 minutes on a medium setting, until crispy and lightly browned.
Serve warm with coconut chutney and potato masala.
