Vegan Besan Ladoo: A Sweet Delight Without Dairy

Indulge in the delectable world of vegan besan ladoo. These dairy-free treats combine roasted chickpea flour, powdered sugar, and aromatic spices.

Ingredients

2 cups besan (chickpea flour) 1 cup powdered sugar 1/2 cup refined coconut oil 1/4 tsp cardamom powder 2 tbsp chopped nuts Saffron strands for garnish

Step 1

Heat a pan, add the besan. Dry roast the besan, stirring continuously, until it turns aromatic and golden brown.

Step 2

In a bowl, combine the cooled besan, powdered sugar, and cardamom powder. Mix well.

Step 3

Melt the coconut oil in a separate pan Gradually pour the melted coconut oil into the besan-sugar mixture.

Step 4

Mix well and Allow the mixture to cool slightly. Then shape it into round ladoos.

Step 5

If desired, press a saffron strand on top of each ladoo for garnish. Enjoy this delicious dessert.
