Veg Pulao: A Quick Solution For Family Dinner

Looking for an easy recipe for family dinner? Make veg pulao, it is delicious, wholesome and can be prepared in very little time.

Ingredients

500 ml water, 500 gm basmati rice, 100 gm ghee, 50 gm paneer (cooked), 100 gm carrot, 100 gm beans, 100 gm peas, 2 small elaichi, 2 cardamoms, 1 cinnamon, 3 bay leaves, 2 tbsp cumin seeds, 1/2 tbsp chilli powder, 1/4 tbsp turmeric, salt to taste, coriander leaves

Step 1

Heat ghee and lightly sauté all vegetables. Add paneer and sauté again.

Step 2

In a separate pan, sauté all spices. Add drained rice and fry for 3 minutes. Add sauteed vegetables and water.

Step 3

Cover and cook until done. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with raita.
