Karonda pickles taste sweet, sour, and spicy. The berry is mostly used in pickles because of its crunchy texture.
It is very easy to make and tastes very sweet or sour with crunchy bits of berry in it.
Similar to achaar, you can also make murabba out of it, which will be a sweet treat for your mouth.
Many people also drink it by grinding the ripe berries, enjoying it as a juice.
In some regions, Karonda is used in curries, adding a unique tangy flavour to the dish.
