Frozen parathas are a convenient and quick option for a tasty meal. Pre-cooked and ready to heat, they are ideal for busy days. Simply heat, and enjoy with curries, chutneys, or yoghurt. Here are a few tips to help you cook them.

Do Not Thaw Before Cooking

Cook frozen parathas directly from the freezer. Thawing them can cause them to become soggy and affect their crispness.

Preheat The Tawa Or Pan

Ensure the tawa or pan is preheated on medium heat before placing the frozen paratha. A hot surface helps cook the paratha evenly and crisply.

Use A Little Oil Or Ghee

Lightly brush the paratha with oil or ghee on both sides. This adds flavor and helps in achieving a crispy texture.

Cook On Medium Heat

Cook the paratha on medium heat, flipping it frequently. Cooking on low heat may make it soft, while high heat can cause it to burn before cooking through.

Press Gently While Cooking

Gently press the edges of the paratha with a spatula as it cooks. This helps it puff up and ensures even cooking.

Flip Multiple Times

Flip the paratha at least 2-3 times to ensure both sides are evenly cooked and golden brown.

Serve Immediately

Once cooked, serve the paratha immediately while it’s hot and crispy. You can wrap it in a clean cloth to keep it warm until serving.
