Upasana revealed that her doctor has provided her with a nutritious and healthy pregnancy diet plan. She has reportedly been told to “eat nutritious food and not for two but just for me.”

Here are some of the foods that the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) recommends every pregnant woman should eat for a healthy pregnancy.

Fresh Fruits

The NHS says that eating plenty of fruits for breakfast can ensure that you don’t get any unhealthy cravings during the day.

Healthy Carbs

The NHS says that eating carbs like whole grains, rice, potatoes, pasta, etc can provide plenty of energy, which you will need during pregnancy.

Seasonal vegetables are always packed with immune-boosting nutrients, so make sure you eat plenty of these.

Lean Proteins

Indulge in lean proteins like chicken, eggs, beans, chickpeas, lentils, paneer and tofu for proper protein boosts.
