Dahi aloo is a popular dish prepared across Uttar Pradesh. It is nutritious, hydrating, and prepared in a jiffy. You can enjoy it with rice and roti in summer, winter, spring, and autumn. Here is a quick recipe you should try.
1 cup curd 2 cups water 4 boiled potatoes 1 tbsp ghee 1 tsp cumin seeds 2 slit green chillies Salt to taste ¼ tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chilli powder 1 tbsp coriander leaves
Heat a kadhai and pour ghee in it. Saute cumin seeds and green chillies.
Meanwhile, mix curd with water, turmeric, and red chilli powder.
Add curd mixture to the kadhai. Peel the skins of potatoes, crumble them, and add them to the blend.
Let the mixture come to a boil before adding salt.
Cook the ingredients until the sabzi thickens.
Garnish dahi aloo with coriander leaves before serving with roti or rice.
