With a base of garlicky Greek yoghurt and spiked with a piquant chilli butter, the Turkish eggs are, much to popular perception, an easy dish to recreate at home for breakfast. What’s more – the recipe takes lesser time to throw together than making scrambled or fried eggs.

2 eggs, soft-boiled ½ cup Greek yoghurt 1 clove garlic, grated 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes 1 tablespoon butter 1.5 tablespoons chopped coriander Salt, to taste

Whisk the garlic and one tablespoon of chopped coriander into the Greek yoghurt and season with salt.

Transfer to a serving plate and slice the soft-boiled eggs before placing on top.

Heat the butter in a small pan and allow the red chilli flakes to bloom in the fat.

Drizzle over the waiting eggs and yoghurt and sprinkle some more fresh coriander on top.
