Soya chunks are one of the major protein sources for vegetarians and vegans, making them the perfect ingredient for your weight loss journey. If you are trying to lose the extra inches, here’s a quick and tasty recipe to make with soya chunks.

Ingredients

Soya chunks - 1 cup Onion - 1 Tomato - 1 Garlic cloves - 2 Grated ginger - 1 Olive oil - 1 tablespoon Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder - 1/2 teaspoon Salt to taste Cilantro - 1/4 cup

Step 1

Soak the soya chunks in hot water till they are soft. After about fifteen minutes, drain the excess water and set aside.

Step 2

Heat up olive oil and saute onion, garlic, and ginger and add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and chilli powder.

Step 3

Add chopped tomato and cook till it softens.

Step 4

Once you get a uniform tomato mixture, add the soaked soya chunks and mix well.

Step 5

After coating all the soya chunks, garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.
