Kombucha is a fermented, lightly effervescent, sweetened black tea drink that has lots of health benefits. Learn how to make it.
1 liter water, 60 gm sugar, 3-4 gm green tea, 1 bug ginger or fruit juice as per taste
Take water in a pan, add sugar and boil for a couple of minutes. Then remove from the flame and add green tea leaves.
Allow it to steep for 15-20 minutes, then pour it in a wide mouth glass container.
Add a portion of tea from the previous batch.
Cover it with a muslin cloth and ferment for a week.
You can drink it fresh, or bottle in an airtight bottle to get carbonation.
