Aloo tikki is a popular Punjabi street food that is made with boiled potatoes, spices, chopped onions and topped with dahi and chutney. For a crispy evening snack, follow this recipe.
4 potatoes, boiled 1/2 cup green peas, boiled 1 onion 2 green chillies 1-inch ginger 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon garam masala Chaat masala Salt, to taste 1 tablespoon rice flour Oil for frying
Mash the potatoes and mix them with boiled peas, chopped onion, green chillies, and all the spices.
Add rice flour and knead a firm dough. Take small portions and shape them into patties.
Heat some oil and half-fry or deep-fry the tikkis till crispy.
Garnish with curd, imli chutney, green chutney, and serve.
