Halwa is a traditional Indian dessert. And mango halwa is the perfect twist to the dessert that captures the essence of summer. To make this utterly delicious dessert, here’s a step-by-step recipe.
2 ripe mangoes 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup ghee 1/4 cup semolina 1/4 cup chopped nuts 2-3 cardamoms A pinch of saffron
Take chopped mangoes and blend them into a puree till smooth.
Heat some ghee and roast semolina for a few minutes till it is light brown in colour.
Add the mango puree and cook for about five minutes.
When the mixture starts to thicken, add sugar and mix well.
Add some more ghee, saffron and cardamoms.
Garnish with chopped dry fruits and enjoy the summer dessert.
