Indulge in the aromatic flavors of this vegan chickpea tikka masala recipe. With a rich tomato and coconut milk base infused with a blend of spices and tender chickpeas.
2 tbsp oil 1 chopped onion 3 cloves of garlic 1-inch piece of ginger 1 tsp cumin 1 tsp coriander 1 tsp turmeric 1/2 tsp paprika 1/2 tsp garam masala 1/4 tsp cayenne Pepper 2 chopped tomatoes 1 can full-fat coconut milk 2 cups cooked chickpeas Salt to taste Fresh coriander
Heat the oil pan. Add the chopped onions and saute. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger.
n a bowl, combine the ground cumin, ground coriander, turmeric, paprika, garam masala, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.
Add the spice mixture to the pan and stir. Pour in the diced tomatoes and coconut milk. Stir well.
Now add the cooked chickpeas. Stir everything together. Add salt according to your preference.
Serve the vegan chickpea tikka masala over cooked rice or with naan bread. Garnish with fresh coriander .
