Tired of the same ol' Asian rice and herb rice varieties? Try a spicy number this weekend! Explore an easy Mexican rice recipe which has a lot of flavours and is also quite hearty! Plus, you can add a number of seasonal veggies as well! Let's have a look at the recipe.
– 1 cup long-grain white rice – 2 tablespoons vegetable oil – 1 small onion, finely chopped – 2 cloves garlic, minced – 1 cup tomato sauce (or 2 ripe tomatoes, blended) – 2 cups chicken broth – 1 teaspoon ground cumin – 1 teaspoon chili powde – 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste – 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
7 chicken drumsticks 1 tablespoon ginger paste salt as required 2 tablespoon soy sauce 3 tablespoon sriracha sauce 1 tablespoon honey 1/4 cup lemon juice 1 1/2 tablespoon chilli garlic paste black pepper as required 3 tablespoon schezwan sauce 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 1 handful coriander leaves

Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear. This helps to remove excess starch and prevents the rice from becoming too sticky. In a large skillet or saucepan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
Add the rinsed rice and cook, stirring frequently, until the rice is lightly golden brown. This should take about 5-7 minutes. This step is crucial as it gives the rice a nutty flavor and prevents it from becoming mushy.
Add the chopped onion to the rice and cook until it becomes translucent, about 3 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute. Pour in the tomato sauce and stir to coat the rice evenly.
Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth. Add the ground cumin, chili powder (if using), and salt. Stir well to combine.Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low.
