Try This Dahi Samosa Chaat For Evening Snacking

A unique and unusual recipe for you if you are craving some spicy chaat, filled with flavours and spices. Try this amazing chaat and enjoy!

Ingredients

For 6 servings 1 cup all purpose flour 1 1/2 teaspoon butter 1/2 teaspoon carom seeds salt as required 3 mashed,peeled potato 3/4 teaspoon red chilli powder 3/4 gm coriander powder 2 medium onion 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder /2 teaspoon cumin seeds refined oil as required 2 dashes black salt 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala

Ingredients

3 1/2 cup hung curd tamarind paste as required For Garnishing sev as required 2 tablespoon cut into strips beetroot 2 tablespoon cut into strips carrot 1 tablespoon coriander leaves

Step 1

To make a smooth dough for this delicious chaat recipe, combine all-purpose flour, salt, butter, and carom seeds.

Step 2

Spend 15 to 20 minutes letting the dough rest after it has been kneaded. Microwave the potatoes, briefly blanch the peas for about 2 minutes.

Step 3

Now Peel and mash, the potatoes that have been microwaved. All the spices and the chopped onions should be sauteed in hot oil.

Step 4

Finally, mix in some mashed potatoes and blanched peas. On a medium-high flame, thoroughly combine the mixture. Remove and let it cool.

Step 5

Pre-heat the refined oil in a deep pan for frying. Now take a piece of the dough that has been kneaded and roll it into a flat, smooth circle.

Step 6

With the aid of a spoon, distribute the right amount of filling in the centre of the circle before encasing it in the correct form with the dough.

Step 7

When ready to deep fry, carefully place the sealed pieces into heated oil. Take a bowl add Red chilli powder, sugar, and hanging curd and beat  together.

Step 8

Slice the fried samosas into several pieces and place them on a platter. Top it with curd and tamarind chutney.

Step 9

Sprinkle the chaat masala and roasted cumin powder over the dish and garnish with sev.

Step 10

Top it with coriander leaves, carrot and beetroot slices that have been thinly sliced. Serve immediately!
