Choco Dry Fruit Wheat Cake By Neelu Dua

Choco dry fruit wheat cake is a delicious and healthy cake made with wheat flour, dry fruits, chopped almond slices, tutti fruttiand chocopowder. This cake doesn't need butter, condensed milk and eggs. It is a perfect bake recipe for beginners. One can also add chocolate chips.

Ingredients

Wheat flour 1 cup Sugar powder 1/2 cup Choco powder 2 tbsp Oil 1/4 cup Baking powder 1 tsp Baking soda 1/2 tsp Vanila essence 1 tsp Almond slices 2 tbsps. Tutti frutti 2 tbsp Milk 1 cup Salt 1 cup

Step 1

Take a heavy bottomed kadaior cooker. Place it on low flame.  Spread 1 cup salt evenly on kadai’s. Place a stand on it. Cover and preheat for 10 minutes.

Step 2

Grease a baking tin with oil, line it with butter paper. If you don’t have butter paper, dust it with flour and tap off the excess. Keep aside.

Step 3

Take a large mixing bowl. Sieve wheat flour, powder sugar choco powder, baking powder and baking soda in it. Add oil and mix.

Step 4

Now mix milk to make a thick batter. Blend in almonds, tutti fruttiand vanilaessence. Mix well. Transfer this mixture to the greased tin. Tap it twice.  Bake it in kadaifor 30 minutes.

Final Step 

Insert a toothpick to check if the cake has cooked. Remove it and let it cool down. Unmold it and peel off the butter paper. Cut the cake into pieces and serve.
